Hey folks. Welcome to the Musicadian website. Musicadian is an independently published music magazine originally distributed in Orkney, Scotland. Things have changed and we're now based in East Sussex. We've just had a far-too-long break, but no worries!
We're now back on track, raring to go etc etc... and even though we started out down here as an online zine, a new issue will be printed soon. It will be available to buy online, so wherever you live, you now have the chance to buy it.
SPOTLIGHT
bands we bloody love at the moment
Johnny Panic
Punk/rock/pop band hailing from London, who will probably be featured on here permanently. Their music is full of messages regarding big issues of today such as drugs, suicide, prostitution, self-harm, wasted youth - and that's just for starters. For some reason, they haven't had a number one, and after three years of supporting the band, we really think it's about time that changed!

Recommended songs: Burn Your Youth, Dislocation, Minority Of One
Madina Lake
Madina Lake are nothing new, but what they are is a slab of catchy rock similar to bands like Funeral For A Friend and Lostprophets. We've become quite addicted to the Chicago rockers in recent times - perhaps a little behind the bandwagon, but we got there eventually.

Serj Tankian
There's nothing quite like Serj out there right now. It's almost impossible to create a sound of your own, but he's managed even to stray away from the core System Of A Down sound. There are similarities between the two, but Serj just has a new edge that is bound to blow the world away.
