You are currently recording the Trashlight Vision album. How did you get involved with them?
Well, I started the band so I guess I am to blame. The band is composed of old friends that I had known before the Murderdolls were ever a sperm in Joeys or Wed's testicals.
What can we expect from the album?
A good strong solid rock album. No bullshit. Expect to be entertained.... in a very straight forward fashion.
Where do you get inspiration for writing songs?
I've been blessed with a pretty amazing life, and I've met some very colorful people and had some adreachrome like experiences. That's what makes me write.
What is your favourite song that you've written so far?
Maybe Black Apples?!?! But it changes daily.
You have toured with lots of bands I love such as Johnny Panic. Who has been your favourite band to tour with?
That was a great tour. Touring with JP and with Plan A was awesome! And the off dates were with the Buzzcocks, so how can you beat that?
What differences have you found between the audiences of your different bands?
Well, with the Murderdolls, it is a bit more of the Red and Black army. But with TLV it's everyone from Punks, to goths, to rockers. I consider TLV to be a sanctuary for the outcasts. You don't need to look any special way to like us.
My friend went on a tour bus that you had previously trashed. What has been the craziest thing you've done with any of your bands?
Well I had a bus driver that was a total asshole. So we did this show where they had sausage and cheese for us to eat and it was our last day on the tour, so I tied it to a string and put the sausage and cheese in the heater vents that ran though the bus. That's a good G rated one.
To the future. Where do you see yourself in a few years' time?
I hope not infront of a computer, but I'm sure I will be..ha,ha...
What would you like to achieve that you haven't already?
My death.
Finally, what advice would you give to any budding musicians?
Above everything else-stick to it and be yourself. It might take some time, but be patient and be true to yourself.
